Here’s another of those “only in America” stories. Back in the 70’s (1970’s that is) Day’s Door could be found operating from the garage attached to Larry and Joanne Day’s home – and the garage wasn’t very large. As the business grew, and it did so quite quickly because of the strong need in the area, a change of physical location became a must. A small building was erected in the commercial area of town as the business prepared for the many expansions that were to come. The garage door/operator/accessory business soon added windows, interior doors, exterior doors and stairway parts to their product line. The business’s pride and joy is the millwork shop with its extensive inventory and ability to give the customer exactly what they have requested. In facilities now totaling over 22,000 square feet, Day’s Door has one of the most comprehensive in-stock selections for your home or business in the tri-state area.

Larry and Joanne Day, with her daughter, Sue Pedersen, still run the company along with their dedicated expert staff of 20 employees.
